Pointerra Limited (ASX: 3DP, “Pointerra” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Western Power, the owner and operator of Western Australia’s electricity transmission and distribution network, to provide, implement, and support its Pointerra3D digital twin platform as the enterprise 3D visualisation solution for Western Power’s transmission substation network.

The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process and has an initial term of three (3) years with a minimum total value of A$413,442 (ex-GST), covering platform licensing, implementation, integration with Western Power’s corporate systems, and ongoing support and maintenance.

Continues Global Energy Utility Sector Growth

The Company now proudly supports the daily use of Pointerra3D for more than a dozen large utilities around the world who trust Pointerra to securely and safely host their valuable and mission critical geospatial digital twin data.

Western Power's contract award and subsequent adoption of Pointerra3D for its transmission substation network further validates the platform's capability in supporting Australia's energy and critical infrastructure sector, complementing the Company's long-term presence in the US energy utility market.

The contract creates a foundation for broader engagement with Western Power and other Australian energy utilities as the domestic sector accelerates investment in digital engineering, asset management, and grid modernisation in a time of unprecedented challenges and investment across generation, transmission and distribution networks.

The platform's scalability to Western Power's full network of approximately 155 substations, together with the potential for future analytics and digital-twin capabilities such as condition monitoring, asset tagging, and change detection across the entire transmission and distribution network represents a material annual recurring revenue growth opportunity.

Contract Details

Western Power operates approximately 155 transmission substations across the South-West Interconnected System in Western Australia. Many of these substations are located significant distances from operational depots, requiring repeated site visits for planning, maintenance, and inspection activities.

Under the contract, Pointerra will deploy Pointerra3D as a hosted, web-based platform to store, visualise, and interact with high-resolution lidar, photogrammetry, and reality data for Western Power's transmission substations.

The initial rollout covers 50 sites over the contract term, with the platform architected to scale to the full network of approximately 155 substations.

The contract has an initial term of three (3) years with a minimum total value of A$413,442 (ex-GST). Revenue will be recognised over the contract term in accordance with the Company's accounting policies. The contract is subject to normal commercial terms and conditions.

Western Power expects implementation and go-live within two weeks of contract award.
