The following is a company announcement issued by Plaza Centres plc pursuant to Chapter 5 of the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules:

Plaza Centres p.l.c. (the Company) hereby announces that it has been informed by HSBC Global Asset Management (Malta) Limited as manager of the HSBC Malta Funds SICAV p.l.c. and the HSBC Malta No-Load Funds SICAV p.l.c. that the joint holdings of the two SICAVs in the shares of the Company has been reduced from 8.5% to 4.76% of the Company's total issued share capital.

The number of shares currently held by HSBC Global Asset Management (Malta) Limited as manager of the two SICAVs is now 1,345,233 shares.
