The following is a company announcement issued by Plaza Centres plc pursuant to Chapter 5 of the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules:

Plaza Centres p.l.c. (The Company) announces the appointment of Mr Etienne Sciberras of The Village Court, St Peter Street, Kirkop KKP1528, as a Director with effect from 9 January 2013. Mr Sciberras joined the Investments Department at the Middlesea Group in 2001 and assumed the responsibility of a Senior Executive Manager within the Investments Department of MSV Life plc in 2010. In May 2012, Mr Sciberras was appointed Risk Officer.

Mr Sciberras obtained an Honours Degree in Management from the University of Malta, a Certified Public Accountant by profession, is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants and is also a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

There are no further disclosures to be made in terms of listing rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9. This appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
