Revenues

Revenue from operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 is ₹513.8 crore as compared to ₹456.5 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations for the nine months ended December 31, 2018 is ₹1,545.8 crore as compared to ₹1,460.2 crore in the same period last year.

Sales for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018 is reported net of GST whereas revenue for the periods prior to September 30, 2017 quarter were reported including excise duty.

Profits before other income and tax

Profit from operations (before other income and tax) for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018 is ₹136.5 crore and ₹360.4 crore respectively.

Other Income

During the quarter, the Company divested its rights and interests in two brands for a consideration of ₹30 crore. The income, net of related expenses, is included in ‘Other Income’ for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018.

Profit after tax

Net Profit after tax (including other comprehensive income) for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 is ₹132.5 crore as against ₹87.0 crore in the same period last year. Net Profit after tax (including other comprehensive income) for the nine months ended December 31, 2018 is ₹321.3 crore as against ₹254.9 crore in the same period last year.
