**Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG: Announces First Quarter 2020 Results
Asslar, April 21, 2020.** Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (“Pfeiffer Vacuum”) achieved first quarter 2020 sales of EUR 153.3 million (first quarter 2019: EUR 153.7 million). The operating result (EBIT) of EUR 12.8 million and was significantly lower compared to the previous year (previous year first quarter EUR 18.1 million), and the EBIT margin decreased to 8.4 percent (previous year first quarter 11.8 percent). The order intake was EUR 172.9 million during the first quarter 2020 (compared to EUR 148.8 million during the first quarter of 2019).
The company will announce detailed results for first quarter 2020 on May 5, 2020.
