Extension of Offer Period for the Recommended Offer for United Orogen Limited

Iron Mountain Mining Limited ACN 112 914 459 (ASX:IRM) today extended the offer period for its takeover offer for all the shares in United Orogen Limited ACN 115 593 005 (United Orogen) until 7:00pm (AWST) on 3 October 2012. A formal notice of variation is enclosed with this letter.

The United Orogen Limited independent Directors recommend that you accept the offer in the absence of a superior proposal.

If you wish to accept the Offer, we urge you to do so immediately.
