ASX ANNOUNCEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PLACEMENT OF SHARES

Elysium Resources Limited (“Elysium” or “Company”) (ASX:EYM) is pleased to announce that it has raised $446,662 from the placement of 148,887,435 shares at 0.3c each. The placement was made to Mr. Dean Pontin of Lesmau Pty Ltd and Mr. Jim Morison of Zilina Pty Ltd both of whom are qualified engineering and construction managers with over 20 years’ experience in the delivery of mining projects in Australia and South-East Asia.

Mr. Pontin is Elysium’s current Project Development Manager and both he and Mr. Morison have a proven record of progressing projects through the development phase to mine production. The placement funds will progress the Burraga Copper Project to feasibility study completion.

Elysium’s Technical Director, Mr. Neb Zurkic, said, “I have worked with Dean previously and have kept track of his many achievements which have included successfully bringing to production small to medium scale gold and copper mines in Australia and South-East Asia. Since his appointment as Project Development Manager for Burraga mid last year, Dean has had the opportunity to understand the potential of the Project and this placement of funds is a very strong endorsement for the Project and the Company’s progress towards Production.”

Elysium has issued capital of 1,255,384,800 ordinary shares following this placement.
