PARTNER COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES S&P MAALOT AFFIRMS ITS ‘ilAA-’ BOND RATING WITH STABLE OUTLOOK

ROSH HA’AYIN, Israel, October 5, 2009 – Partner Communications Company Ltd. (“Partner” or “the Company”) (NASDAQ and TASE: PTNR), a leading Israeli mobile communications operator , announces that Standard & Poor’s Maalot (“S&P Maalot”) affirmed Partner’s ‘ilAA-’ bond rating with stable outlook. At the same time, the rating was removed from CreditWatch with negative implications where it was placed on September 17, 2009.

In its report, S&P Maalot stated that: ” We believe that Partner should be able to sustain a materially more leveraged capital structure whilst at the same time maintain a financial risk profile appropriate for the current rating.”
