Update re Equity Issuance

The Board of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") has been pleased by the recent strong demand for the Company's shares, though notes that as a consequence of this demand the Company's shares have been trading at a significant premium to their underlying net asset value.

As announced on 5 November 2020, the Company has initiated preparation of a prospectus to facilitate greater share issuance over the coming period. It is the Board's intention to continue to issue equity under the authorities granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 10 November 2020, and any subsequent authorities granted as they may arise. The Board believes such issuance benefits existing shareholders since it can increase the liquidity of the market in the Company's shares, spread the fixed costs of the Company over a larger base and enhance NAV per share when issuance is undertaken at a sufficient premium to NAV.

Shareholders should be aware that share issuance may have the effect of depressing the premium to net asset value at which the Company's shares currently trade.
