TRADING HALT

The securities of SmartTrans Holdings Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 28 February 2018, or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for trading halt: SmartTrans Holdings Limited (ASX: SMA)

SmartTrans Holdings Limited (SMA or the Company) requests a trading halt to be granted by the ASX for its securities immediately.

The trading halt is requested in connection with a substantial capital raise by the Company.

1. Reasons for trading halt - to avoid trading taking place on an uninformed basis.

1. Duration of the trading halt – the Company expects the trading halt trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of the release of an announcement by the Company or the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 28 February 2018.

2. Termination of the trading halt – the Company anticipates the trading halt will cease no later than upon the commencement of trading on Wednesday 28 February 2018.

3. No reason – the Company is not aware of any reason for why the trading halt should not be granted.
