record for SmartPay China with revenue of $357,000 in April**

• Tenth consecutive month of revenue growth for SmartPay online platform in China

• Revenue growth of 19% from the previous month

• Year-­‐to-­‐date revenue for China operations now $1,807,000 – almost 100% up on the entire FY2014 ($927,989)

11 May 2015: Mobile and online payments platform and logistics software provider SmartTrans Holdings Limited (ASX: SMA) (‘SmartTrans’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that its SmartPay and online platforms in China have delivered another record result with revenue of $357,000 for the month of April.

This is the tenth consecutive month of revenue growth for SmartTrans’ SmartPay online billing platform, and brings year to date revenue for the Company’s operations in China to $1,807,000. This figure represents an almost 100% increase on revenue booked by SmartTrans in China for the entire financial year 2014 ($927,989).

Revenue from SmartTrans’ operations in China to the end of April 2015

SmartTrans attributes the majority of its ongoing revenue growth in China to the Direct Carrier Billing arrangement that it has in place with China Mobile, now operating in major provinces including Guangdong, Jiangsu and Sichuan, with more expected to follow soon.

The Company has also expanded the range of apps and content available to consumers via the SmartPay platform across a variety of channels and this has helped to deliver revenue growth of 19% from the previous month. Over 35% of the revenue in April is from recurring subscription revenue, which involves minimal ongoing cost to SmartTrans.

SmartTrans Managing Director, Bryan Carr, stated: “This is a fantastic result for SmartTrans and one that reaffirms our decision to maintain a focus on growing the SmartPay platform as our key revenue driver.”

“We still believe that there is much potential upside here and accordingly we will continue this focus. We expect to announce the expansion of the Direct Carrier billing partnership with China Mobile into new provinces, along with a number of other exciting initiatives, in the coming weeks.”
