11 June 2015: Mobile and online payments platform and logistics software provider SmartTrans Holdings Limited (ASX: SMA) (‘SmartTrans’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that its SmartPay online platform in China has delivered another record result with revenue of $406,000 for the month of May.
SmartTrans’ eleventh consecutive month of revenue growth for the SmartPay platform brings year to date revenue from the Company’s operations in China to $2,207,000, exceeding revenue earned by SMA for the whole of financial year 2014 across all business divisions ($2,194,369).

Revenue from SmartTrans’ operations in China to the end of May 2015
SmartTrans attributes this ongoing growth to the expanding range of apps and content that is now available across various channels via the SmartPay platform, which is also serving to further enhance and diversify revenue streams for SMA. The Company is also encouraged by the strong percentage of subscription revenue (over 30% approximately) that it continues to achieve without further marketing spend – this revenue is passive and involves no ongoing marketing cost to SMA.
SmartTrans Managing Director, Bryan Carr, stated: “This has been an outstanding month for the SmartPay platform with yet another record monthly revenue result for our China operations. The fact that year to date revenue from this business division alone now exceeds all of that for FY2014 is a fantastic achievement, and further affirmation of our decision to focus on SmartPay as our key revenue driver.”
“We maintain a strong focus on fully leveraging the potential for SmartPay in China and the roll out of new content and into new provinces is planned to continue. Also, as we have previously flagged, SmartTrans is assessing growth opportunities for its logistics technology platform in China.
SmartTrans will update shareholders on revenue performance from SmartPay in early July.
