SmartTrans Business Update

SmartTrans has continued to achieve good revenue in both its Chinese and Australian business operations in February following profitable operation of the company in December and January.

Revenue derived by SmartTrans and Digi8 in China and Hong Kong amounted to AUD204,000 in February and has already reached AUD92,500 for the first week of March. SmartTrans’ share of this revenue amounts to AUD163,000.

The profitability of the SmartTrans group in December 2013 and January 2014 is particularly pleasing as the company incurred one-off expenses in this period associated with the planned divestment of the mining interests and consequent closure of its Perth office.

The company has focussed its efforts on its mobile and online software businesses in China and Australia achieving:

• Ø Growth in revenue in its Chinese and Hong Kong operations;

• Ø Growth in revenue in its Australian operations;

• Ø A reduction in ongoing operating expenses in its Australian and Chinese businesses;

• Ø Profitability across the SmartTrans group in December 2013 and January 2014.

SmartTrans believes its growth strategy is on track as supported by the following recent accomplishments:

1. Revenue attributable to SmartTrans for the half year to December 2013 rose by 173% from the equivalent period in 2012;

2. Revenue attributable to SmartTrans for December 2013 rose by 590% from the same month the previous year;

3. Revenue attributable to SmartTrans for January 2014 rose by 700% from the same month the previous year;

4. Revenue attributable to SmartTrans for February 2014, whilst preliminary, rose by approximately 465% from the same month the previous year;

5. The SmartTrans group achieved monthly profitability in December 2013 and January 2014.
