SmartTrans secures significant Lottery & Sports Wagering deal in China.
SmartTrans has secured a valuable arrangement allowing it to provide lottery and sports wagering directly from any of its Internet web sites with the first service due to launch from its www.mycaipiao.cn site in the first week of August.
The recently executed agreement means that SmartTrans has further expanded its reach in the lottery and sports wagering market in China allowing, not only those with Smartphones, but all users on the Internet to place wagers via SmartTrans.
SmartTrans has been appointed to provide the online wagering services for 15 types of welfare and sports lottery including Double Ball, Welfare Lottery 3D, Seven Lucky Lottery, Grand Lotto, Seven Star Lottery, High Frequency Welfare Lottery, Chongqing Real Time, Jiangxi Real Time plus wagering on sports such as Football and Basketball.
SmartTrans will receive a significant royalty on all amounts wagered and with the strong global growth in online gaming both on mobile devices and Internet web sites, is looking for growth in line with that reported by other online gaming providers operating elsewhere in the world such as Ladbrokes, William Hill, Paddy Power and Jumbo Interactive.
The Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery, which are operated by the government, are the only forms of legal gambling in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). (Source http://www.sport.gov.cn/n16/n33193/n33223/n35724/n2348514/1114421.html).
“I believe we are in an enviable and unique position in China with agreements to operate online and mobile lotteries and wagering and to also be able to collect online payments over the Internet and on Mobile phones. I am not aware of any other foreign company with the rights to do all of the things we can in China. This presents SmartTrans with a tremendous opportunity to follow the lead of some very successful online gaming providers, but to do it in China.” said CEO, Bryan Carr.
