Appointment of Chairman

The Directors of SmartTrans (SMA) - Chairman the Hon Mark Vaile AO and Executive Directors Geoffrey Jamieson, Warren Preston and Brendan Mason - are pleased to announce that following a meeting of the Board yesterday, Mr Nicholas Johansen has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of SmartTrans Holdings, commencing July 1, 2018.

The Board thanks the Hon Mark Vaile AO for his assistance during his term in the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mark Vaile will retire as Chairman and Non-Executive Board Member of SmartTrans Holdings on June 30, 2018.

Managing Director Brendan Mason said: “It’s been a privilege for the Board and the team to work with a man of Mark Vaile’s calibre. Mark believes in the SmartTrans business strategy, to the point that he has offered to take his back fees as shares, if shareholders approve that it’s appropriate to do so. Thank you, Mark, for everything you have done for us at SmartTrans.”
