Helge Midttun nominated as new Chairman of NRC Group ASA

The Nomination Committee of NRC Group ASA has

unanimously, together with the company's largest

shareholders, decided to propose Helge Midttun as new

board member of NRC Group ASA. Due to Midttuns

experience, he has also been asked and has accepted to

take on the position as Chairman of the board (if

elected). In relation to Midttuns nomination, the

current Chairman of the board at NRC Group ASA,

Kristian Lundkvist, will step down and become an

ordinary board member.

Helge Midttun has wide experience from many industries

where he has held senior management positions and

served as board member. He has been CEO of Fjord

Seafoods ASA, a major international salmon farming

company, and has worked for Rieber & Søn a food

company, where he also was Chairman for 6 years until

it was sold to Orkla. He has also been President and

CEO of the international ship classification and

certification company Det norske Veritas and Aker

Biomarine ASA and served on the boards of Statoil ASA

and Aker Kværner ASA. He is now working as an

independent board member and is Chairman of amongst

other; Aibel, Hent, Sonans and Atlantis Vest.

Further nominations from The Nomination Committee's

are shortly due to be announced. It will be called for

an Extraordinary Annual General Meeting in NRC Group

ASA in due course.
