PRESS RELEASE

Shri V.V.S. Sreenivas has taken over charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NMDC. He is an officer belonging to 1994 batch of Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME). In addition to varied experience in Railway sector, he had exposure to Port Logistics, Dredging and Project activities of Oil and Gas Sector by virtue of earlier deputation(s).

He is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Surat with Masters Degree from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He attended Course on Environmental Management at University of Bradford and University of Manchester on prestigious British Chevening Scholarship. Prior to joining NMDC, Shri Sreenivas was CVO of Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) & Visakhapatanam Port Trust.
