In compliance to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015, it is to inform that Ministry of Power vide its letters no. 2/13/2021-NHPC dated 17.04.2025 has conveyed the appointment/re-appointment of Shri Anil Kumar Sood (DIN 01376251), Dr. Uday Sakharam Nirgudkar (DIN 07592413) and Shri Jiji Joseph (DIN 09415941) as Non-Official Independent Directors on the Board of NHPC Limited for a period of one year w.e.f. date of notification of their appointment/re-appointment, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The brief profile of Shri Anil Kumar Sood, Dr. Uday Sakharam Nirgudkar and Shri Jiji Joseph are enclosed herewith.
It is to inform that Shri Sood, Dr. Nirgudkar and Shri Joseph are not related to any of the Directors of the Company and are not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other such authority.
