The securities of Leigh Creek Energy Limited (the “Company”) will be suspended from quotation immediately, at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement regarding a proposed capital raising.

Dear Mr Dobbs,

Leigh Creek Energy Limited (ASX: LCK) Request for Voluntary Suspension

I refer to the request from Leigh Creek Energy Limited (ASX: LCK) (the “Company”) on 22 March 2017 for a trading halt of its ordinary securities quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The trading halt was requested to enable the Company to manage its continuous disclosure obligations pending finalisation and announcement of a proposed capital raising. Until completion and announcement of the proposed capital raising, the Company requests voluntary suspension to the quotation of its ordinary shares on the ASX.

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.2 the Company provides the following information in relation to this request:

1. The reason for the request for voluntary suspension is for the Company to manage its continuous disclosure obligations whilst completing the capital raising.

2. The Company requests the voluntary suspension to continue until the earlier of the release of the announcement, or commencement of trading on Wednesday 29 March 2017.

3. The event that will end the voluntary suspension is the announcement referred to in the second paragraph above.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted.
