Notice received under section 249D of the Corporations Act

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 3.17A, Leigh Creek Energy Limited (ASX: LCK) (“Leigh Creek Energy” or “the Company”) advises that on the 2[nd] of May it received a notice under Section 249D of the Corporations Act 2001 (“Section 249D Notice”) requesting that Leigh Creek Energy call and arrange to hold a meeting of the Company.

The Company is seeking legal advice regarding the validity of the Section 249D Notice. If the Section 249D Notice is valid, the meeting will be called within 21 days of the date that the Section 249D Notice was given to the Company and will be held no later than 2 months after the Section 249D Notice was issued.

The 249D Notice requisitions a general meeting of the Company seeking the removal of the Executive Chairman as a Director of the Company.

Shareholders will be advised further in due course.
