Earlier today Marathon Resources Limited released an announcement titled Release of Company Review and Report Media Announcement in which it stated inter alia “ The resource we have uncovered is - according to an independent expert - a nationally significant probable reserve of uranium.”

The statement in context was not intended to infer a Probable Reserve for the purposes of the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.

By way of clarification Marathon has a nationally significant inferred resource of uranium, a portion of which is classified as indicated tonnage, as advised in its resource upgrade announcement, released to the ASX Tuesday 10 June 2008.
