Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

This is a company announcement issued by M&Z plc (C 23061) (the "Company") pursuant to Chapter 5 of the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority, in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Markets Act (Chapter 345 of the Laws of Malta), as they may be amended from time to time.

The Company would like to announce that Ms Tricia Vella ID No.0559189 (m) and residing at Garden of Eden, Flat 3, Triq It-Turretta, Had-Dingli has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company from 1 st January 2024.

Ms. Vella has a strong background in finance, having gained experience in PwC's Audit Team, working alongside various clients in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector. In her latest employment she held the position of CFO within Swedish listed gaming company Acroud AB.

There are no matters concerning Tricia Vella that require disclosure under Capital Markets Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.

The Company further announces the resignation of Mr. Christian Giordimaina from the position of Financial Controller of the Company. There is no matter concerning his resignation that warrants any disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules. The Company would like to thank Mr. Giordimaina for his service and commitment to the Company and wish him success for the future.
