Contract awarded for the construction phase of the new Hammerfest hospital

Finnmarkssykehuset HF has awarded an EPC contract for the construction of the

new hospital in Hammerfest to Consto. Consto has engaged LINK arkitektur AS and

Multiconsult Norge AS as subcontractors to design the hospital. The total value

for the Multiconsult group, including LINK arkitektur is expected to be

approximately NOK 57 million.

The new hospital is located in Hammerfest in the county of Troms and Finnmark,

will consist of 33.000 m2 and include specialist health care, medical and

nursing education, emergency room and health care. The construction start is

planned for summer 2020, with the end date in 2025. Both Multiconsult and LINK

has previously been a part of the pre-design phase of the new hospital, together

with Norconsult.

The new Hammerfest Hospital is a collaboration between Finnmarkssykehuset HF,

UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and the municipality of Hammerfest.
