Multiconsult Polska awarded contract from Polish National Railway Lines

PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A (Polish National Railway Lines) has awarded

Multiconsult Polska contract related to new railway lines in Poland. The works

is primarily on the passenger lines E30 and E65: Railway line Bedzin-Katowice

-Tychy-Czechowice Dziedzice-Zebrzydowice south in Poland. The contract value to

Multiconsult estimated to NOK 25 million. The work will start immediately and

last until 2027.

Multiconsult Polska is leading a consortium together with Koltech Infa and

Ekocentrum. Multiconsult Polska will act as the contract engineer and the

contract consist of management and supervision of the construction of the 25 km

railway. This includes, in particular, supervision of the design and

construction, as well as technical and financial management and environmental

supervision.

The project that is co-financed by CEF (Connecting Europe Facility - European

Funds Instrument) will increase the capacity, facilitate for higher speed in

both passenger and freight traffic, and improve safety on the railway lines.

The railway team at Multiconsult Polska has in the last couple of years won

significant contracts, leaving it responsible for supervision of a substantial

part of the recent projects for Polish National Railway Lines.
