Multiconsult Group acquires the Danish architect company Aarhus arkitekterne

Oslo 12 December 2016 - Multiconsult Group acquires the Danish architect company

Aarhus arkitekterne and thereby further strengthens its position in the

Scandinavian market for hospitals.

Multiconsult's subsidiary LINK arkitektur AS has entered into agreements with

the shareholders in aarhus arkitekterne A/S for the acquisition of 100% of the

shares in aarhus arkitekterne.

aarhus arkitekterne will become an integrated part of LINK arkitektur. The

transaction will be settled on 12 December 2016 and aarhus arkitekterne will

change the name to LINK arkitektur during the first quarter of 2017. The total

purchase price is DKK 49.2 million. The acquisition will be settled in cash and

financed through Multiconsult's existing credit facilities.

With the acquisition, LINK arkitektur will be one of the largest architect

companies in Scandinavia with significant presence in Norway, Sweden and Denmark

with approximately 440 employees. Originating back in 1909, aarhus arkitekterne

is a well-managed Danish architect company with approximately 90 employees

working from offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen.

Scandinavia

aarhus arkitekterne is a market leader within health buildings in Denmark and

has a strong track-record within large-scale projects. aarhus arkitekterne is

currently engaged in architecture, design, planning and consulting in all

stages, from concept development to construction management and technical

oversight.
