Multiconsult set to deliver consultancy services for planned road and bridge crossing at Fetsund

Multiconsult (Oslo: MULTI) has been selected as advisor to carry out detailed

zoning plan and preliminary design for development of road and bridge crossing

at Fetsund for Norwegian Public Roads Administration Construction Division (NO:

Statens vegvesen). The contract value for Multiconsult is significant, but still

under negotiation. The work will start immediately and final approval of the

zoning plan is expected by end of 2023.

The project includes preparation of a zoning plan for a new four-lane RV. 22

over a stretch of 3.1 km including a new bridge over the river Glomma, parallel

cycle path and level crossings with easy accessibility for all users.

The nomination of the contract to Multiconsult Norge AS is subject to standstill

period (NO: karenstid) which expires on 25 October 2021.
