Multiconsult wins a new contract with the City of Oslo, Agency for Water and Wastewater Services (Oslo kommune, Vann- og avløpsetaten)

The City of Oslo has selected Multiconsult to carry out condition surveys of all

structures in the vicinity of a new main water supply project to Oslo. These

surveys will give the customer an objective description and documentation of

buildings and structures in the project area before start-up of construction.

The contract value is estimated to be approximately NOK 55 million. Works will

begin immediately, and majority of the works will be completed in the next two

years.

More about the project

The City of Oslo establishes a new source of water supply by 2028. Oslo is the

fastest growing city in Europe. The project aim is to establish a redundant

water supply to ensure drinking water to the city of Oslo in case of an

undesirable event. Today, 90% of Oslo's inhabitants get their drinking water

from one source.
