MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT THE SIGNATURE OF NEW CONTRACTS IN BRAZIL WORTH CIRCA OF 735 MILLION EUROS

Mota-Engil S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") announces that its subsidiary EMPRESA CONSTRUTORA BRASIL (ECB), through a Consortium in which it holds a 33% stake, has signed a new contract with Petróleo Brasileiro, S.A. (Petrobras) worth R\$4.4 billion (equivalent to approximately €700 million).

The new contract, which will have an estimated duration of 50 months, covers, essentially, the design, construction, assembly, commissioning, assisted operation, and integration with the Duque de Caxias Refinery ("Reduc") in Rio de Janeiro.

Additionally, Petrobras also awarded ECB a five-month extension of a contract currently in progress, worth R\$0.2 billion (equivalent to approximately €35 million), which includes the provision of collection, processing, final disposal and disposal services for the flexible lines of the "Submarine Warehouses" of the Campos Basin.

With these contracts, MOTA-ENGIL once again strengthens its backlog, demonstrating its position as a major player in the oil and gas sector in Brazil, further strengthening its presence in Latin America.
