MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT THE SIGNING OF A CONTRACT IN BRAZIL IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF CIRCA OF 300 MILLION EUROS

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL) informs that it has signed, in consortium with Ocyan, a contract worth circa of €300 million (\$R 1,600 million) related to the revitalization of the network gas from Petrobras, in the Campos Basin, in Rio de Janeiro. The contract establishes the company's expansion in the Oil & Gas activities and offshore EPCI projects, which include Engineering, Construction, Acquisition and Installation of equipment.

Within the scope of the contract, which has an estimated duration of four and a half years, the offshore activities will be carried out next to the Namorado and Garoupa platforms (PNA-1 and PGP-1) and will include the installation of several underwater equipment's that will allow the distribution and branching of gases or liquids and flexible ducts.

Furthermore, in addition to the award mentioned above, in the second half of 2023 it is worth highlighting the signing of new contracts / additions to existing contracts by some of the GROUP'S subsidiaries in Latin America in a total amount of circa of €350 million.

With the awards announced above, the GROUP continues to consolidate the activity to be carried out in the coming years at historically high levels, at the same time expanding, in size and profitability, its presence in the region's main markets.
