MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT CONTRACT AWARD IN IVORY COAST BY AN AMOUNT THAT COULD REACH €140 MILLION

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL), through a company 60% owned by MOTA-ENGIL ÁFRICA, S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL ÁFRICA), announces the award of a contract for the design, construction and operation of a landfill and the possibility for screening and biogas energy production in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The abovementioned contract will involve an estimated amount of circa € 140 million (which includes an estimated variable component of circa € 40 million that depends on the tons moved), a duration of 7 years for a total capacity of 8.2 million tons and the construction component valued at circa € 48 million will be executed by MOTA-ENGIL ÁFRICA.

With this award, MOTA-ENGIL reinforces its order book with a long-term contract and strengthens its waste activity in Africa.
