MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL"), through an affiliate in Colombia, has won a public contract for the design, construction and assisted operation of a waste water station in Canoas.
The design and construction will have an execution period of 44 months and the assisted operation will last for 6 months. Both phases will generate an aggregate amount of turnover of around €100 million.
In addition, MOTA-ENGIL PERU was awarded with a construction work of the Las Bambas dam, phase 4, by Minera Las Bambas, which will last for a period of 26 months. Furthermore, to the same company, was awarded the extension of road maintenance works by Provias for a period of 18 months. Last, MOTA-ENGIL REPUBLICA DOMINICANA was awarded with the reconstruction and extension of part of the Port of Caucedo, which will have a 13 months execution period.
With these awards, MOTA-ENGIL reinforces its order backlog by approximately €192 million, adding a total of €500 million of new works during the second half of this year increasing and diversifying its portfolio of works in that region.
