MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that it signed two contracts with the Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainable Development of Ivory Coast, amounting to € 320 million.
Following the conclusion of the proceedings mentioned in our previous release, dated August 1, 2017, MOTA-ENGIL, through a wholly-owned subsidiary of MOTA-ENGIL AFRICA, signed today the contracts for 2 sectors for "Urban Cleaning, Collection and Transportation of Waste Urban Solids in the capital Abidjan" for a period of 7 years.
The two operations will involve approximately 280 vehicles and 2,000 employees, serving around 4.6 million inhabitants and are expected to include the collection of more than 8 million tons of urban waste.
With the start of this operation in Ivory Coast, MOTA-ENGIL expands to 8 the number of countries where its waste collection and treatment area is present, serving from now on around 18.5 million inhabitants.
