MOTA-ENGIL WINS CONTRACT AMOUNTING TO €228 MILLION IN MEXICO AND INCREASES LATIN AMERICA'S ORDER BOOK BY MORE THAN €400 MILLION

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL" or "COMPANY"), informs that through MOTA-ENGIL MEXICO as part of a consortium, was awarded by the Mexican's Transport and Communications Ministry the contract of the "Public Private Alliance Coatzacoalcos-Villahermosa", with a total amount of MXN\$4,750 million (€228 million). The winning consortium, where MOTA-ENGIL MEXICO has a stake of 74% will be responsible for the rehabilitation, maintenance and operation of the highway with 130 kilometres for a total period of ten years, starting in December 2017.

Additionally, during the last weeks MOTA-ENGIL won several contracts that contributed to an increase in Latin America's backlog, namely:

In Mexico, the COMPANY has been awarded a contract for the construction, operation and maintenance of the Veracruz Bridge in Vera Cruz State and where MOTA-ENGIL MEXICO holds a stake of 100%. The contract amounts to €90 million.

Also in Mexico the subsidiary SOCIEDAD GENERADORA FÉNIX ("SGF"), was awarded, in the second energy auction operated by the Mexican's State agency CENACE (Centro Nacional de Control de Energía), the right and the obligation to sell 314.6 thousand CELs1 (Clean Energy Certificates) per year for a period of 20 years, starting in 2019. Under SGF's bidding terms, the CELs will be sold at an average unit price of MXN\$140, with the annual price being adjusted taking into consideration the evolution of the inflation and the MXN\$/US\$ exchange rate.

In Peru, MOTA-ENGIL was awarded a construction contract worth S/.77.6 million (€21 million) that envisages the improvement Huari's hospital. The contract with an execution period of 18 months was awarded within Peru's Government "Works for taxes" financing mechanism that aims at promoting the investment in key infrastructures in the country.

In Colombia, MOTA-ENGIL has won two infrastructure contracts in the city of Barranquilla totalling COP132.7 million (€41 million). The Company will be responsible for the construction of a drainage system and for river bank protection and urbanisation works in Magdalena river.

In Paraguay, MOTA-ENGIL is part of the consortium, with a 20% stake, that was awarded the contract for the design, financing, construction, maintenance and operation of the widening and improvement works of "Road 2" and "Road 7", which connect the capital Asunción to the second largest city of the country, Ciudade del Este, with a total length of 170 kilometres. The total planned investment in the construction amounts to US\$300 Mn (€275 Mn). The maintenance and operation period will length for 30 years.

These contracts will contribute to increase Latin America's backlog by more than €400 million, thus reinforcing the visibility and sustainability of MOTA-ENGIL's construction activity, while reassuring, through the energy auction and the new road concessions in Mexico and Paraguay, resilient and recurring revenue streams in the long-term.

These awards also reflect the successful strategy execution towards backlog geographic diversification and project portfolio diversification.
