Pursuant to provisions of Regulation 30 (6) of SEBI (Listing & Disclosure Requirements) Regulation, 2015, it is hereby informed that Shri Vipul Bansal is appointed as Govt. Nominee Director on the Board of MMTC Limited vide Deptt. of Commerce order No. 11/36/2001 dated 17.12.2021(received on 20.12.2021) vice Shri Shyamal Mishra, JS who was relieved on 7.12.2021from the DoC, MOC&I.

Shri Vipul Bansal is a B.Com(Hons.), CA and aged 44 years. Shri Vipul Bansal is a 2005 batch, Karnataka Cadre IAS Officer and is presently holding the post of Joint Secretary in Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Prior to his joining in the present post of JS in MOC&I, in November 2021, he held the portfolio of PS to Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry from February 2017 to August 2017 and PS to Hon’ble Minister of Defence from September 2017 to March 2019. He also held the position of PS to Hon’ble Finance Minister from June 2019 to October 2021. He also held various positions with State Government of Karnataka the last one being Commissioner(Rural Development), Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department, Govt of Karnataka..

It is hereby informed that Shri Vipul Bansal is not related to any other Director on the Board of the Company on the date of his appointment in MMTC Limited and is not debarred from holding the office of Director pursuant to any SEBI order or order of any other such authority.
