We would like to inform you that pursuant to Office Order File No. A-12022/15/2016-E-IV of Department of Commerce, MOC&I, Government of India, Shri Sanjay Chadha, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry has assumed the additional charge of CMD, MMTC Ltd w.e.f. 14.05.2020 vice Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, Ex. Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
$2$ Shri Sanjay Chadha, aged 56 years belongs to IRSME Cadre, 1985 Batch. He has done his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi and his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology from the Engineering Council (UK). He has worked in various capacities for over three decades on the Indian Railways both in the field units and at the apex level Railway Board. He has also worked as Chief Consultant (Transport) to Sri Lanka on deputation from RITES Ltd. As Additional Secretary in the Department of commerce he is handling international trade with Northeast Asia including China, Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and USA. He is also the Chief Negotiator of India for the India Korea CEPA review. Prior to joining Department of Commerce, Govt. of India as Joint Secretary, he had also worked as Director in the Ministry of Power from 2003 to 2008. He has recently Co-Authored a Book with Dr Bibek Debroy titled "Indian Railways: The Weaving of a National Tapestry".
$31$ It is hereby informed that:-
- $(i)$ Shri Sanjay Chadha is not related to any other Director on the Board of the Company on the date of his appointment in MMTC Limited.
- $(ii)$ Shri Sanjay Chadha is not debarred from holding the office of Director pursuant to any SEBI order or order of any other such authority.
The above intimation is pursuant to Regulation 30(3) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
