EXTENSION OF PROSPECTUS CLOSING DATE

MinRex Resources NL ( MinRex ) ( ASX:MRR ) announces that it is extending the closing date for applications made pursuant to its prospectus dated 17 November 2015. The date to which the closing date will be extended will depend upon the outcome of negotiations currently taking place with the shareholders of Hello Real Estate Limited ( HRE ) to extend the last date for satisfaction of conditions precedent beyond 31 January 2016 under the agreement for MinRex to purchase all of the shares in HRE. A supplementary prospectus will be issued which will contain, amongst other things, an updated indicative timetable. A further announcement with details of the new indicative closing date, updated indicative timetable is expected to be made within 5 business days.
