APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

MinRex Resources Limited ( MinRex or the Company ) (ASX: MRR) advises that with effect from 21 November 2016, Mr Simon Durack has been appointed the Executive Chairman of the Company. Mr Durack will continue to remain as Company Secretary of the Company.

Mr Durack is an inaugural Director of the Company, and prior to this new appointment was the Executive Director of the Company.
