MINREX RESOURCES NL (ASX:MRR) – APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR

Minrex Resources NL (‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Errol Bome as a Director of the Company with effect from 27 February 2014.

Mr Bome is currently the senior portfolio manager at BT Investment Management Limited and is responsible for managing fixed income funds. Prior to working for BT, Mr Bome worked for Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Limited. Mr Bome has over 34 years’ experience in the financial services sector.

The Board has continued to assess a number of new projects both in and outside of the mining sector. Should a decision be taken to invest in a new project, the Company will seek all the relevant shareholder and regulatory approvals required.

Mr Richard Procter has resigned as a Director of the Company with effect from 27 February 2014 to pursue other interests and the Board of Directors extend their thanks to Mr Procter for his service to the Company.
