Directors considering on-market bid by MetroCoal Limited

The Board refers to the unsolicited on-market bid announced by MetroCoal Limited today.

The Chairman of the Company, George Lloyd, said:

‘We are considering the terms of the on-market takeover bid by MetroCoal Limited and we advise that we will comment as soon as we have completed our assessment of the offer.

At this stage we advise shareholders to take no action.’
