MEC Resources Limited – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of MEC Resources Limited (the ‘Company’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 9 May 2018 or when the announcement is released to the market.

RE: REQUEST FOR A TRADING HALT

MEC Resources Limited (ASX:MMR) requests for a trading halt from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 pending the announcement to be made regarding the MEC Resources Entitlements Issue announced on 13 April 2018.

The trading halt should be until the release of the announcement by the Company expected to be no later than market preopen 8 May 2018.

MEC is not aware of any reason why this trading halt should not be granted by the ASX.
