OPTIONS PLACEMENT PROSPECTUS EXTENSION - TIMETABLE UPDATE

MEC Resources Limited ( “MEC” or the “Company” ) (ASX:MMR) announces an update in relation to the indicative timetable for the Options Placement Offer ( Offer ) following release of its Prospectus[1] . The Close Date of the offer has been extended from 20 January 2026 to 3 February 2026 .

The new indicative timetable for the Options Placement Offer is as follows;

Lodgement of the Prospectus with the ASIC and ASX1	2 December 2025
Opening Date of the ofer and Director ofer	4 December 2025
Closing Date of the Director Ofer	12 December 2025
Issue of New Optons to Directors under the Director Ofer	15 December 2025
Closing Date of the ofer1	3 February 2026
Issue of New Optons	10 February 2026
Quotaton of all New Optons (including the New Optons under the Director Ofer)1	11 February 2026
Notes:

1. The above dates are indicative only and may change without notice. The Directors reserve the right to bring forward or extend the Closing Date of the Offers at any time after the Opening Date of the Offers without notice. Accordingly, the date the New Options are expected to commence trading on ASX may vary. The Company also reserves the right not to proceed with the Offers at any time before the issue of New Options to applicants.
