Extension of Share Purchase Plan and Amended Timetable

The directors of MEC Resources Limited are pleased to announce the extension of the Share Purchase Plan to Monday 23 May 2016. Please find attached an amended timetable detailing the new closing date and other relevant dates of the plan.

The Share Purchase Plan is an exclusive share offer made only to those shareholders registered as holders of fully paid ordinary shares in the Company at 5.00pm (WST) on Tuesday 22 March 2016.

Accordingly shareholders are encouraged to submit their Acceptance Form for the Share Purchase Plan as soon as possible.

Eligible shareholders should contact the Company immediately if they have not received their Share Plan and Application Form and are wishing to subscribe for shares.

Wednesday, 23rdMarch 2016	Plan Announced
Thursday 24thMarch 2016	Opening Date The date the Plan opens.
Monday 23rdMay 2016	Closing Date The date on which the SPP closes. Applications and payments or BPAY® must be received by 5:00pm (WST).
Thursday 26thMay 2016	Issue Date The date shares are issued and any scaleback of the Shares to be issued under the SPP is announced.
Friday 27thMay 2016	Dispatch Date The date on which holding statements are sent to shareholders who subscribed for shares under the SPP.
Tuesday 31stMay 2016	Share Trading Date The date on which it is expected that shares will commence trading on the ASX.

The Company’s directors reserve the right to vary the SPP closing date.
