MANAGING DIRECTOR RESIGNATION

The Board of MEC Resources Ltd (ASX: MMR) (the “ Company ” or “ MEC ”) wishes to announce the resignation of Ms Deborah Ambrosini as the Managing Director and Company Secretary of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Ms Ambrosini has extensive experience with MEC Resources, having been with the Company for over 10 years as the CFO, Company Secretary and Executive Director. Ms Ambrosini is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

“I have worked with Deborah for a relatively short time and have appreciated her dedication to MEC Resources and her team in what can only be described as a challenging period for MEC. She has played a pivotal role in preparing MEC for its next exciting phase and it is unfortunate that we lose Deborah’s services as Managing Director at this point in time as we head towards a positive future. The Board and staff of MEC would like to thank Deborah for her work whilst at MEC and we wish her well for the future”.

Ms Ambrosini will continue working with MEC until late May 2019 and will assist the Board in implementing new management arrangements during the transition period. The Board will update the market in due course.
