APPOINTMENT OF NEW AUDITOR

MEC Resources Ltd (ASX: MMR) (the “ Company ” or “ MEC ”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Moore Stephens Pty Ltd as the new auditor of the Company, commencing at the Company’s next Annual General Meeting (“AGM”).

Moore Stephens is one of the world’s largest accounting networks which provides accounting, audit, assurance, business advisory and taxation services.

The Company believes a further dissociation from entities that are in legal dispute with MEC (who are currently audited by HLB Mann Judd) will benefit the Company, its shareholders and contribute to future success. Further a reduction in audit costs to the Company will also be achieved by this change.

In accordance with S329(5) of the Corporations Act, HLB Mann Judd have sought consent from ASIC to resign as auditor of the Company with the resignation to take affect at the Company’s next AGM. HLB Mann Judd have advised that this consent was received Thursday 7 June 2018.

The Directors would like to thank HLB Mann Judd for their assistance and efforts as auditor of the Company.
