Opinion of the Financial Stability Committee regarding the level ofthe other systemically important institution buffer
With reference to the current report No. 27/2018 of 15 June 2018, theManagement Board of mBank S.A. ("Bank") informs that on 28 June 2018 theBank received a decision of the Financial Stability Committee ("FSC")issued at the request of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority("PFSA") within the framework of the administrative proceedingsconducted by the PFSA regarding the review of the adequacy of the othersystemically important institution (O-SII) buffer imposed on the Bank.
In the aforementioned decision, the FSC expressed a positive opinion onthe imposition on the Bank the O-SII buffer, determined pursuant to theArt. 38 of the Macroprudential Supervision over the Financial System andCrisis Management equivalent to 0.50% of the total risk exposure amountcalculated in accordance with Art. 92 par. 3 of the Regulation of theEuropean Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 575/2013 of 26 June 2013on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms,amending Regulation (EU) No. 648/2012 (Regulation No. 575/2013).
Currently, the level of the O-SII buffer imposed on the Bank isequivalent to 0.75% of the total risk exposure amount calculated inaccordance with Art. 92 par. 3 of the Regulation No. 575/2013.
The Bank will inform in a separate report about the decision issued bythe PFSA in the above-mentioned proceedings.
