Consent of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority to entrust Mr.Marek Lusztyn with the position of the Member of the Management Board ofmBank supervising the management of material risk in the Bank'soperations
In relation to the current report no. 68/2020 dated 22 October 2020 onthe appointment of Mr. Marek Lusztyn as Vice-President of the ManagementBoard of mBank S.A. ("Bank"), the Management Board of the Bank announcesthat on 3 March 2021 it received the information that the PolishFinancial Supervision Authority issued unanimous approval to entrust Mr.Marek Lusztyn with the position of the Member of the Management Board ofthe Bank supervising the management of material risk in the Bank'soperations.
Mr. Marek Lusztyn is a banker with 25 years of experience in the sector.He holds a PhD in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Illinois and theUniversity of Warsaw, is an alumnus of INSEAD and holds a engineeringdegree in computer science. He completed numerous courses in the fieldof banking and management, among others, at Singularity University andStanford Graduate School of Business. For 20 years he was associatedwith Bank Pekao S.A. For almost 10 years he held senior executivepositions within the international structures of UniCredit Group inLondon, Munich and Milan, where he was responsible for global riskmanagement functions. Between 2017 and 2020 he assumed roles in theManagement Board of Bank Pekao S.A., where he held positions of ChiefRisk Officer and Chief Executive Officer. He was a member of theUniversity Council of the Warsaw School of Economics in 2019 - 2020. In2014 he was named the Future Leader in Global Finance by the Instituteof International Finance, Washington, DC.
