MARTIFER INFORMS ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP WITH OCEAN WINDS FOR AN OFFSHORE WIND TENDER IN PORTUGAL

Martifer, SGPS, S.A ("Martifer"), informs that it has partnered with Ocean Winds, a global leader in offshore wind energy.

Martifer's stake in the partnership is 10% and is aligned with the Strategic Plan in force, namely, the ambition to grow and create sustained and sustainable value in the Energy area in business deals that maximize synergies and cross-selling with Group's other business areas, and with partners of unequivocal credibility and competence.

This collaboration brings together Ocean Winds' extensive international experience in developing and operating offshore wind farms with Martifer's in-depth knowledge and consolidated track record in the Portuguese market. By developing together cutting-edge floating offshore wind farms that will provide sustainable and clean energy solutions, they aim to contribute significantly to Portugal's renewable energy targets of 2 GW by 2030, aligned with then National energy and climate plans (NECPs) of the European Union.

Martifer has excelled in implementing innovative and sustainable solutions, both in renewable energies and energy infrastructures, and this strategic alliance aims to improve the company's positioning in the next offshore wind tender in Portugal.
