The following is a Company Announcement issued by MAPFRE Middlesea p.l.c, pursuant to the Capital Markets Rules of the Malta Financial Services Authority.

MAPFRE Middlesea p.l.c ('the Company') announces that Ms Ines Silva has resigned from her position as Chief Officer for Human Resources in order to take up a new role with the MAPFRE Group in Madrid, which resignation shall have effect from 31st December 2024.

Further to an intensive recruitment process conducted meanwhile, Ms Loredana Mallia has been identified as a qualified and suitable replacement and shall be joining the Company as Chief Officer for Human Resources with effect from 20th January 2025.

Ms Malia is a graduate in Human Resources Management and a seasoned professional with more than twenty years experience in various management roles working in multi-national Corporate environments and specialising in employee relations, recruitment, compensation, performance and change management.

Ms Mallia will be reporting into the Company's Chief Executive Officer.

While the Board thanked Ms Silva for her dedication to the Company over the years and wished her well in her future endeavours, there is no other matter concerning either Ms Silva or Ms Mallia that requires disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.
