The following is a correction to the Company Announcement dated 28 January 2021 (MMS 326) issued by MAPFRE Middlesea plc, pursuant to the Listing Rules of the Listing Authority. The Company Announcement should have read as follows:

MAPFRE Middlesea plc announces that Mr David G. Curmi has resigned from his employment as CEO with MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c for personal reasons and consequently, from his position as a Director of MAPFRE Middlesea p.l.c with effect from 31 January 2021.

The Board thanked Mr Curmi for his sterling contribution and wished him well in his future endeavours.

There is no other matter concerning Mr Curmi that requires disclosure in terms of the Listing Rules.
