Manitou Group announces the signing of a new €375m credit agreement
/Ancenis, 26 July 2022 – Manitou Group announces the signature of a new credit agreement for an amount of
€375 million and a maturity of 5 years with the possibility of a 2-year extension. This financing replaces the current €180 million credit agreement maturing in December 2023.
Consisting solely of a revolving credit facility (RCF), this financing completes the various bond and long-term facilities of €105 million euros put in place in 2019.
The new credit documentation also includes the possibility of including in the agreement additional facilities of up to 200 million euros in total, a mechanism that will accelerate the financing process for growth transactions.
The credit agreement has been negotiated with the following pool of banks : HSBC Continental Europe - Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner & ESG Coordinator Banque CIC Ouest - Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner & Documentation Agent Société Générale - Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner & Agent BNP Paribas - Mandated Lead Arranger & Bookrunner Natixis - Mandated Lead Arranger & Bookrunner Banque Populaire Grand Ouest - Mandated Lead Arranger & Bookrunner Arkéa Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels - Lead Arranger Crédit Lyonnais - Lead Arranger
Michel Denis, President & Chief Executive Officer, said: "The new financing put in place will enable Manitou Group to further develop its activities in line with the ambitions of the "New Horizons 2025" roadmap, to carry out the main capacity investments that the group has announced in France (€80 million) and in the United States (€70 million), and to accelerate the energy transition of our equipment, the digitalization and the services activities."
